What do you think of this as a new rig?
I was going to have Micro Center build me a new computer soon, but this looked pretty good for the price ($1399).
What do the Wise Men of JiF think?

Wow almost exactly like mine. Same CPU, same MB MFG different model, same ram amount and speed, same drive types and sizes, same PWR supply size and MFG except mine might be a gold or platinum. I don't have wireless and my video card is an EVGA GeForce GTX 690.
You should be pretty happy with it.
Oh wait my pwr supply is an 850.

Hi Uncle Stinky,
Do you have any idea how much pressure Mini is going to put on me when he reads this? So I might as well know it all... what type of case did you put that in?

Hey Badger looks like a complete pre-build but I think this is the case. PowerSpec ATX 767C.
Might be able to save some money building it yourself.

Re: What do you think of this as a new rig?
Thanks Grimp but I'll probably have to pass this one by.
Just for fun I priced the parts out at newegg.ca (it's just like the real newegg only without those inconvenient low prices!)
With shipping and taxes the parts come to: $2,363.48 cdn. (Of course this assumes I don't need the parts right away. If I want them sometime in this calendar year it will cost $166.05 more.) But it's OK since I'll receive a "Rosewill RPS-110BL - 6-Outlets Power Strip", a 10 dollar value...Free!
I guess Mini is going to have to start saving. I'll make him a deal; if he buys the parts I'll build it (then claim it as my own and let him use my hand-me-downs).

I wish the pricing difference made more sense. It can be a little disheartening sometimes.

I am more of a cuckoo for cocoa puffs guy but I don't actually care for cocoa puffs much to eat Maybe up there you put some gravy on them? That might be better.
