Getting your loadouts to save

Post by [JiF]KellysHero »

For the longest time I couldn't get my loadouts to save and each time I'd start the game I would have to go in and choose the weapon, accessories, etc..., but I think I found the cure. I'm not sure why, but the config file was set to "Read Only", thus it wouldn't save the loadouts. This must have happened when I reinstalled the game from the D drive to my C drive. Find the config file in the "Origins"-"Battlefield3" directory and make sure to unclick the "Read Only" status for those files.
You've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

I haven't experienced this issue on PS3 except my pistols always revert to the M9 tact. when I prefer the MP433 Tact (more bullets and faster reload)

The only 2 issues I now get are the Engy's main gun always swaps back, even when playing the same server it can happen.
The other is the outfit. Always flops back to default every day. Remembering to switch is a bit of a hit & miss affair with me, like remembering to un-mute the mic when I've been for a quick break.
