If only they would actually release a video showing the map, instead of the battle shots that they could of done in the current BF3 maps...

Re: New BF3 back to karkand trailer
Hopefully they'll stick to the original map layouts. They are tried & tested winners, which is obviously why they have picked them to re-do for BF3.
Just update them with the destructable buildings & landscaping & they'll be on to a winner.
I am looking forward to them as they map rotation is just starting to get a bit stale at the minute. The number of maps on the origninal release is a little limited, so sopmething to freshen it up a give us a bit more choice is going to be good.

Re: New BF3 back to karkand trailer
I will personally be very unhappy with DICE/EA until they remake BF42 with Frostbite II or at the very least release modding tools like the MDT that came out with '42 to allow the community to do it.
Perhaps we should start a campaign to try and influence them...?

I was wondering about mod tools too Z. Even if not WW2, WW3 scale would be nice(IE captial ships, artillery, super large maps, etc). I noticed most of the "large" maps are still pretty small in comparision to 42(think El Alamein)
