New JiF BF3 server

Just picked up a BF3 server for us to kick around on when it goes live. It's 20 public slots for now, but if it needs it I can bump it up later.

Looking for some names for the server...any suggestions? JiF is a given to be in the name, but not sure what else should go. I prefer Hard Core mode, do we want it set at HC now or not.

Not sure what i will be able to configure on the server yet as it is only preordered (hope it will go live for the beta testing).

anyways, look forward to seeing some fellow JiF'ers hanging out on it (looking forward to getting my ass kicked by Doc)

I have been avoiding win 7 - guess I can not do it any longer.
Upside is it must be time for a new Rig!!!!

Top if you don't upgrade you may find yourself running round catacombs & sewers on your own soon
Mind you will be a shame just to drop the DDO as we are having a good time each evening/night.
Still been looking forward to BF3 for a long time now, so I'll certainly be on parade!

I know I just finished updating my rig. Mostly so I can play Bf3. Now BFBC2 runs like a dream with highest settings. its awesome.

I signed up for three months in advanced at the 20 slots. will look into the clan pay shortly for assistance if we want to add more slots or if I need assistance. we can go up to a monster 64 slots if we wanted. it is 1.30 a slot per month. not a whole lot right now but if they (gameservers) decide to raise the cost per slot later at least we are locked in at that rate per slot for the life of the server. that is one reason I signed up now.

also looks like it may be available for the beta period. as I fond out more I will keep everybody posted
