Benchmarks "Brag" thread
How about we start off a thread to see how our pc's fair against each other in some benchmarks.
I'm going to run Unigine Heaven and S.T.A.L.K.E.R Call of Pripyat tonight. I'll post the results after. Any other benchmarks that you guys know of lets hear about em. I'm very interested to see the difference especially in the i5 vs i7 arena.

Re: Benchmarks "Brag" thread
Gonna start brag about yer new computer, eh?
I'll download Unigine Heaven, and test it out. I only have a GTX 470 & i7-950, so your 6950 & whatever Sandy Bridge i7 model you got, are superior ^^

Re: Benchmarks "Brag" thread
I ran some benchmark tests, but won't get the results until the programs stop laughing.

Re: Benchmarks "Brag" thread
I'll have to overclock this thing and see if the results change.

Re: Benchmarks "Brag" thread
I'll run them on my Core i5 2500k system, but I'm running the integrated graphics, so would be kinda crummy.
You've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

Re: Benchmarks "Brag" thread
lower resolutiuon though . Most games still dont fully support crossfire so it just looks nice in benchmarks
Would be nice to try overclocking. Seen alot of people who can reach 4ghz with the processor! Still doesnt stack up to the i7 though.

Re: Benchmarks "Brag" thread
I need to research overclocking my cpu. Some people are reporting getting to around 5Ghz on this i7. Plus I can try to flash my video card which I guess makes it perform a lot better. I'm pretty happy with the stock performance right now though.

Re: Benchmarks "Brag" thread
Someone try Minecraft! It's a hell of a RAM-eater! This is caused by the way the blocks is stored. The average FPS on my computer is 30-35; quite suprising for a 9-year old computer with 1.5 GB RAM!

Re: Benchmarks "Brag" thread
My FPS was about 55 min to 75 max on Minecraft, 65 average, I think. Everything maxed out and stuph. If I'd explode alot of TnT's, it'd probably go down to 30 FPS. And if I'd explode ALOT of TnT's, it go down to ~20 FPS XDGnome-father wrote:Someone try Minecraft! It's a hell of a RAM-eater! This is caused by the way the blocks is stored. Re: Benchmarks "Brag" thread
=Sigh=
My machine isn't really worth the effort of benching marking so I'm just going to make some numbers up.
I'll claim 11, 23, and 42 at maximum chromaticism +2 with full hue stratification and brightness < pi.
Pretty good eh?
