1.Download the .zip
- To download click "Save file to your PC" in the bottom right
- ** DO NOT CLICK ON THE DOWNLOAD AD IN THE MIDDLE!! **

2. Extract to desktop (anywhere you have space is fine, this does not need to go in the arma 2 folder)
- You will see 3 files, SIX Updater Suite, JiF Server Maps, and Arma 2 A.C.E. Launcher
3. Run the SIX updater installer (can be installed anywhere)
- After the installation has completed run the Six Updater - GUI (It should have created a shortcut on the desktop)
- Multiple windows may pop up do NOT close any of the windows
- After some time it will open a web browser
4. Click Edit preset
5. Next to "Settings Profile" it will say "A2 OA Any (autodetect)"
- Click on the "A2 OA Any (autodetect)" it will drop down a menu
- Select "A2 OA Combined Ops"
- Next to "Actions" it will say "Install or Update and Startgame" Click the text to open a drop down menu
- Then Select "Install or Update"
- Now click Update in the bottom left
- It will bring you to a new screen
6. Move your mouse to the top left where it says "Configuration"
- A menu will appear, select "Settings"
- Veryify that your "A2 OA Combined Ops" path is correct
7. Move your mouse to the top left where it says "Configuration"
- Now select "Mirrors" from the drop down menu
- Here you can find the best server to get the fastest download
- Click "ping" next to the servers to find the server with the lowest ping
- A window will open displaying the information (see picture) The number next to the arrow is what you want to look for
- Find a server with the lowest numbers/ping
- Then disable all the other servers
- Also check under the network section to make sure it says "Six Updater"
- If the server you selected does not, then you need to select another that does
8. Now your ready to download
- Select "Main" near the top left of the screen
- Under the "Actions" section select "Execute"
- A new window will pop up and the mod will begin to download
- When the mod has finished the window will say "Press enter to play"
- Close Six Updater and all the windows it opened
- The mod is now installed
9. Launching the mod
- Run the Arma 2 A.C.E. Launcher
- Extract/Install into your "Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead" folder
- this can be found it Steam/steamapps/common
10. After the installation is complete a desktop shortcut will be created
- To launch the game with the mods run the new shortcut (steam needs to be running)
- To launch without mods, Luanch the game via steam like you normally would
Notes: In order for the desktop icon to work you must have ran Arma 2, and Arma 2 OA via steam first. Steam needs to run a first time setup as stated in the Basic Settings guide.
I have also included in the .zip a installer that has some maps we play. To install the maps run the installer and extract/install int your "Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead" folder.

How To Patch/Update A.C.E. Mod with Sixupdater
1. Launch Sixupdater
2. Once the browser menu has opened click "Edit Preset"
- Change "Settings Profile" to "A2 OA Combined Ops"
- Change "Action" to "Install or Update"
- Click "update" near the bottom left
3. Now select the main page by clicking "Main" near the top left
4. At the main under the "Actions" section select "Execute"
- A dos window will open showing the update progress
- Once finished it will ask you to press enter to finish
5. You have now updated your A.C.E. files
- You may close Sixupdater and all of the windows
