BF1942.exe error

Post by Gnome-father »

I was launching Battlefield and Fraps, but i got an empty error message with the Abort/Retry/Ignore buttons. I shutted down fraps and everything seemed to work well when i lauched but i got a black screen and then it crashes without any error message. I tried again and the same thing happend, but this time it makes an error message and a small ASCII windows appears for a half second before it close. The messages dont say anything at all, just an empty box...
Someone knows how to svolve this problem without reinstall? Dont have the cd's here. I am at my cabin with Grandma & Grandpa.

Have you tried Percussion Therapy?

it involves a Hammer, Arm movement and potentially a huge amount of regret...
