What is the best city simulation game ?
My answer to that question is...
Simcity 4 Rush Hour
Thumbs up :
Great road system
Great education/health/security/power/sanitation system
Nice building variety (and you can add/download some buildings easily http://www.simtropolis.com)
No monthly fees
Very good transportation department (trains, highways, mono-rail, roads, avenue, airports, seaports,...etc)
Thumbs down :
Roads have to be straight or diagonal (No curves) and building zones have to be rectangular.
Hard to make high populations city.
Singleplayer.
Sims... (what's the point of having sims...)
Sims are not bright. (they dont use highway like they should do.)
My second choice is ...
Cities XL

City trade systems (online)
Roads can be straight, diagonal and they can have curves.

Monthly fees for online
Limited singleplayer
Limited buildings
Limited education/health/security/power system
No sanitation system
Ugly road entrance to your city
