Hello, Im Han Solo, formerly just Han. I wanna just say hello to everyone
Im planning to download the special maps that I always see but cant get into:(
Question for you guys, How do you speed up the xpak to plunger switch? Is it a setting? or an actual cheat they're using out there?
and the always full auto? whats the deal with that?
I promise not to use these on Jiff (unless its allowed:)
Anyway ley me know the schedules of RTR and SWWW2 and new maps.

Hi Han.
I also experience problems when switching, it's slow but i think the trick is to be cool and, push switch-button once
and get timing right (not too early not too late).
What is "full auto"?

Also consider to download the BG42-mod. Visit BG42 for info and downloads. JiF have a server for
that mod.

Hey Han! Welcome to the forums!

I've spent a little time lately trying to find the trick about expacks, and the trick is: If you right-click too fast and then left-click, you will just throw another expack out. But if you take some time and study your players hands after you have thrown an expack, you will find out that you can right-click and left-click when your players hands are back to "stationary" with his expack.
Just go to a quiet place in the field and throw an expack behind some sandbags and try to find the fastest way. And you may want to practice throwing an expack while jumping - then your expack will fall longer away from you. You can do this with a mine too, but thats a different timing. (at least for me).

Hope this will help, and i hope i'll get killed by you expack in the future.
And BTW, press the "Downloads" button to the left of the "Logout" Button. You'll find what you need there.

I have been playing this game for years no & still haven't mastered the expack toss & detonate like some others have. I guess I should follow Cesar's advice & practise it in a quiet corner.

We don't have a lot of rules on JiF, but one thing we really don't tolerate is cheating with hacks and such. So since you asked if it is allowed, I thought I'd make sure that was clear. Luckily, we rarely see any signs of cheating, and most of the times cheaters seem to be caught by Punkbuster.

If you can, do download the BG42 maps -- they are a lot of fun.

the expack hack that I have learned is patience
figue out where the enemy will pass by and lay in ambush,
nothing more satisfying than watching someone staelthily make their way from the Allies main on berlin all the way to the river, letting them swim, sneak up the steps and go for the rear flag, only to be atomised by a well place stick of dynamite...mwahahahaa
