JiF/Peanut Butter Recipes/Uses

Post by [JiF]Flying Tiger »

Well here's another pip of an idea LOL!!!

I figured since we all have a great fondness of peanut butter and all it's wondrous possibility's, then what better way to share our favorite ways to enjoy this tasty emulsion of happiness than to post for all to try.

It doesn't matter how odd or off the beaten path it may seem, just post one or more of your favorite ways to enjoy peanut butter.

Alright my first contributions are two of my favorite ways to JiF peanut butter in particular.

Peanut Butter and Potato Chip Sandwich

3 Slices of bread (whichever you prefer)
2 Handful of your favorite potato chips
1/4 jar of peanut butter (your preference)

Assemble the 3 slices as you would a normal sandwich, spreading a think layer of peanut butter on all three.
Take one handful of chips and place between first two slices pressing lightly to hold in place, second apply peanut butter to the opposite side of the middle slice add second handful of chips followed by the third slice of bread on top pressing lightly then enjoy.

Grilled Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich a.k.a The Elvis Special

2 Slices of bread (white preferably)
1 Banana cut in half and sliced lengthwise
Jar of favorite brand of peanut butter
1 stick of softened butter

Spread peanut butter as with any other sandwich, take sliced bananas and place in the middle completing the sandwich.
Take a frying pan and warm on medium heat, then lightly butter both sides of sandwich then placing in frying pan.
Cook sandwich on both sides over medium heat until golden brown or to desired taste, remove from pan and eat carefully.

I hope everyone shares at least one way to enjoy the glue that binds our community together LOL!!!

major I love the sound of that. Chicken Satay is one of my favourites over the pub (sometimes have it on a Friday lunch with a couple of pints)

I may have to try your satay recipe out myself though.

Thanks
