Hello, as the subject states, MoonGamers is hosting a tournament for Battlefield 1942 for the summer. I'm just helping spread awareness of the event and am in no way associated with the staff running the event. It is ran entirely by the Admins and staff at MoonGamers.The format of play will be 8v8, unless more players should show up. In that case they would also play, as it is unfair to the people who want to play. As MoonGamers is administering this there will be no disrespect or bad sportsmanship. Now, I know some of you here have experience in competition so you'll know the format well and be accustomed to it. However, it is run differently than you would think. Instead of team based 8v8, the Staff pick (based on the amount of players signed up to play) anywhere from 6-10 captains. The captains then choose the maplist for the season. Those captains then choose in order from the list of players to pick. (Draft style) Then we play.
