American hops in my beer

Post by [JiF]Lt Gav »

Imagine my surprise today when I go to my local for the lunchtime pint & I find that the beer is made from 3 types of American Hops.
It was a very nice pint (made in England of course).
You chaps obviously have the right materials to make a good pint, just difficult to track down the good brews.

Glad to help. We are starting to recover from the disgrace of losing all our local/regional brews and are getting some excellent beer here. I always ask for a local beer and nothing disappoints me more when the answer to "what's on tap?" is bud, bud light and miller. I don't know if we'll ever get to the level things are across the pond, but it's a start.
