BF2 1.41

Post by [JiF][AARP]Grimp »

Something strange going on? Mystery update?
EA Link and I think FilePlanet have a BF2 1.41 update listed as released 11/16/2006
I installed it yesterday, but can't find any info at EA about it. It must be different as I could not join the server that Beezer and rIot were on because my version was newer.

Where is Timmay! to keep us updated on this stuff!!!!!

1.41? That explains why I couldn't join you last night.

Edit: They haven't updated the official BF2 site since 1.4 and haven't touched the Special Forces site since 1.21 but I found this - http://battlefield.ea.com/battlefield/b ... ch141.aspx

I mentioned that to Riot last night when we were finding a sever, half of them were red and i couldn't figure out why, because if there was a new patch all the severs usually get it. So maybe EA just forgot to tell everyone  . Smooth EA Real smooth :!:

He's still fed up with EA/DICE and has been ignoring them.

Did look around the EA UK forums last night.. EA is saying 1.41 is to fix a server crash. Same old, same old from users: screaming about them not fixing exsting/easy bugs, CTDs, cheats, etc, etc, etc..

Hmmm....took me a whole 11 minutes 43 seconds to download. You must be on dial-up.

I've got DSL and am limited to 90 Kbs for downloads. At work I can easily get over 200 and sometimes up in the 500's. If I download three things, I can get 90 for each of them.
