Hobbies Anyone?

Post by [JiF]corn »

I'm not sure if this is appropriate or not.
I thought maybe i could start a thread where you can post pictures or threads of outdour stuff.
Hunting, Fishing, Camping, Hiking, and even cycling.
I think it would be cool to see what other JiFFers do in their spare time. :D

BTW-Hunting/Fishing pics may contain dead animals. :o

Nevermind, General Topics says gaming related stuff :(

You mean we are supposed to put gaming related stuff here??

That means I think I will have officially maybe 10 posts
I have decided to produce and sell a strong alcoholic drink called "Responsibly".
That way everyone in the country can get wasted drinking Responsibly.
And all the other drinks makers will be advertising for me on their cans with the slogan "please drink Responsibly".
Probably will annoy the government as well.

Cathartic moment: If it were not for JiF and meeting [JiF]Beej1024, I would have no pictures of me surfing. This is from '04. That board has a big Frankenstein repair job on the deck now. Thanks again Beej and it sounds like we will see each other this summer.

Those are some nice buckets there Corn! Right now I have a blast taking my niece and nephew fishing, although it's hard to explain how constantly baiting hooks, retrieving snags, re-tieing lines, getting hit with fish as they yank them out of the water, unhooking the fish, and releasing the fish that we dont want to keep can be so much fun. Maybe it's the look on their faces.

Here is a salmon that I caught about 3 weeks ago now (man time flys...)

A picture of focus!
This was before I did the London to Brighton (a 54 miler across some pretty hilly terrain)
Still I was sinking a cold Stella by 12.30 pm much to the annoyance of the rest of our team & support vehicles who were still on the roads with the temps pushing high 80's & the tarmac melting on the road.

Not strictly an outdoor activity but it is a hobby as the thread title suggests :)

My studio where I'm currently recording an album: (and playing bf of course)

Well on the way to square-eyes after a 24 hour session:

Posing in a band photograph with my bandmate, Brandy, who is from Detroit, Mi (taken on my recent visit to the US a few weeks ago):
(As I live in the Netherlands, we use the internet and online collaboration applications to make our music.
It's a dance-based electronic sound, but I'm sure it's the kind of music most parents warn their kids about  )

I myself am collection scars I want to beat Badger !) Some of you may recall I underwent surgery on a lung last year, well guess what ? I'm fresh out of the hospital (yesterday) with a new relic on my body.

IT's not that gross but if you don't like that kind of stuff, don't click the link. I know not all people like those things so I linked on purpose.

Da scar !

So does this mean that we will see a little bit more of you for awhile and that we will have to take it easy on you?

And does it mean no more deflating experiences?

Yes, if you like and I sure hope so ! I found out last night that I'm able to play for a while so it's good news, home with all the time to game

As for taking it easy with me, you better come extra hard instead, help me get the reflexes back. And as for the deflating, according to my surgeon and studies I hunted on the internet, the re-occurance rate is of less than 3%, which is good news.

As it looked like u got hit by a bazooka I think the re-accurance rate would be 100% if u play BF1942, maybe 5% if u avoid playing when mini is around
. :D
