Crunchy Vs. Creamy Scrim - September 21 at 1PM EST

Would you like to have a match or scrim with us? We aren't a competition clan, but we do play well with others.

When should we have the scrim?

Crunchy Vs. Creamy Scrim - September 21 at 1PM EST

Post by [JiF]EA »

It has been a little over half a year since our last scrim, and yet again the time has arrived! This will once again give us a chance to get to know some people, utilize team work, and most importantly, have some fun. I believe the match will be 8 vs. 8. Anyone is free to sign up. If we need to make the match bigger, that can be negotiated. I signed up people automatically from the other thread, if plans change, please let me know.

It would be better if everyone had a teamspeak account. If you don't have/need a ts account please let me know, and I'll set one up for you!

Match Info: Best out of 3
Maps: Ortona and Hurtgen. Karden as a tiebreaker if needed.
Final map, Just in Fun, Stonehenge

Team 1

Although I chose a time in the poll, I'm flexible, no probs.

Maps: Corn suggested: Ortona and Hurtgen. Karden as a tiebreaker if needed.
Final map, Just in Fun, Stonehenge

Ortona I haven't played yet it seems, so no comment, Hurtgen is good for a fight, and Karden will be brutal!

I'll go with Corns suggestions, although Gav mentioned Kharkov, which also makes sense as it's a fair map for both sides.
Kursk is also a pretty balanced map, but not ALL that much fun.

You guys are an ADD nightmare.. lol redirect the threads if you're hopping around it's hard to follow late at night after a few beers!

Just a a suggestion.. Battleaxe CTF can be fun too. But StoneHenge/Karden seem the best to me!

I'm in providing that I'm home from New Orleans! Don't care which team!

I personally think that this Sunday is too soon. It would be better to wait a week to arrange it, and work out all the final details. Let's get the poll in by tommorow so we know for sure.

Though more players may join, based on loose stats from gametracker, the teams may be a bit lobsided in favour of Team 1
The numbers in green represent the kills per minute ratio recorded by gametracker.

Team 1
[JiF]cannedcorn007 0.69
[JiF]WinkyDeathKill 0.98
rix 0.90
[JiF]Sgt. hUTCHIE 0.77
[JiF]EveryAvenue 0.38

average = 0.72

--------------

Team 2
[JiF]Lt Gav 0.75
Sir Die-a-lot 0.50
[JiF]War Trophy 0.61
[JiF]zougathefist 0.61
[JiF]Lonewolf-McQuade 0.37

average = 0.56

This is just an observation out of curiosity, I'm in it for the fun, I'm used to being embarrassed! xx
As far as maps go, I think we should just let EveryAvenue go ahead and choose them to avoid any conflict of interests!

See ya there!

The teams have been adjusted according to kpm. As for the maps, I just took the idea from the last forum. Maps: Ortona and Hurtgen. Karden as a tiebreaker if needed. Final map, Just in Fun, Stonehenge. As for the time, it seems 8pm is now the favorite. Just an fyi, if we play at 8, I will not be able to make it. So as of right now, the teams will be uneven.

Cool!
My e-mail has been down for days and didnt know you guys were setting this up!

I have no issues with whatever team I am on as long as it is somewhat fair for all. If it needs to be addressed, assign me to the team with the lowest overall kpm ratio for a Jif scrim.

If this is to practice for a future game with the guys from MW, then I think that there should be a seperate list or game with those who have the highest kpm playing as a team so that they can unite against those devil dogs from MW!!!!

Either way, I'm in!

Sounds like great fun guys... whew whoooo!

Hi guys, how long before must i say "YES" 2 play with u if u need 1 more player?

I mean, i cant 100 % say "YES" at this moment - maybe 75%. If i must work at Monday morning (we have 02:00 am CET if you get started) i took the 25%. If i had free - or could come later - than i took the 75% card.

It´s with TS? Duty?

Maybe if i had TS or not - i am from Germany - and i must many times go 2 leo and babelfish for translating - you know -
