I figured I'd start an "I'm a geek because" thread. I wasn't sure whether 'geek' or 'nerd' is the proper term these days, so I did a scientific poll and asked Timmay!.

I'm a geek because tonight when I cooked dinner I used an excel spreadsheet to scale the ingredients.
