I have to thank my good buddy Bisonburger for clueing me in to the entire Battlefield scene and specifically to the unfettered joys that BF1942 had to offer. Before I found BF1942, I had never played any of the Battlefield series, instead wasting my days and night goofing around with Counterstrike Source, Day of Defeat, Teamfortress 2, but now I've seen the light. Now I steal whatever time I can to play BF Vietnam, BF2, and of course BF1942. I suck, but at least I suck at a really fun game! And he was dead on about how the people here are really a cool bunch to play with. Everyone's been real nice an helpful too, like Lt. Waterboy, LoneWolf, and Brick who've taken the time to kill me with every conceivable weapon that the game offers (who would've thought that I could get killed at point blank range with a heavy artillery gun), so that I wouldn't be scared or confused when all of you started killing me repeatedly on this server (which you have). And of course my buddy Bison, who has continued to show me that a bomb being dropped from a plane in the middle of a forest, does indeed make a sound, even if your ears and a$$ have been blown in two different directions!
Seriously though, thanks to all who continue to make this server such a great friendly destination to unwind, relax, and have fun.I'm sure I'll see you out there on the field of battle (...well, you'll be on the field of battle, while I'll probably be dead waiting to respawn yet again....or splattered on the side of a mountain because flying with a mouse sucks......or maybe hopping around like an idiot in the transport while trying to figure out how to lower the damn ramp once I've beached it which invariably leads to ...damn..dead again, I'll just wait to respawn... but now I can't respawn cause my spawnpoints been lost and ................how the hell do i have a negative score if I havent killed anyone...............
