Re: New free Battlefield Game announced!
Not a fan of ad driven games, but if it is free or nearly free maybe
I personally am tired of having to pay $1000 to play an $50 game because it needs new hardware.
With a little restraint on the part of the developers I am sure games can be very good without pushing the bleeding edge. You can see a bit of a trend in some games that are playable on lower machines yet are really cool on high end machines. I am sure the developers would like to sell millions of copies rather than just to the players who can mortgage the house for a new system. Maybe the team up with the hardware makers model is starting to get thin If they were really doing that. Sure seems like they did.
If I could spend $30 - $50 for a new game and not have to upgrade my PC I might buy it. As it is I won't buy it until I get new hardware. I don't plan on getting new hardware anytime soon, so sorry EA

Eh, who knows it could be a fun game, but either way it's free..so there's nothing to really lose.
I'm working on solving the gas crisis.

Of course it will probably take 1/2 an hour to load up the game while you wait for all the ad trailers before hand!

I looks like there's a lot of hatred out there already for this game

its the 'micro-transactions' that have me bothered, if you don't buy upgrades with your hard earned cash some wealthy noob is gonna own you.
still it could be fun
guess i shouldn't knock it till i've tried it.
