Portal!!!!

Portal was released today, and after some decrypting by steam I played some.

What does everyone that has it think??

I thought It was a short but veryvery fun game. It sticks to the Half-Life theme of gaming,
of having to use your head when you play the game instead of just pointing and shooting.

Clearly my graphics are a bit out of date haha, I can't read anything on the walls, I was thinking to myself hmmm I bet that says something funny. :( But i think im gonna be building a new rig soon

I'm not really impressed with Portal...at least it wasn't worth all the hype, I'd rather play Peggle instead...

It's more of an engine demonstration than anything else. Very neat but pretty easy (well I haven't finished it completely - still got 2 missions plus the bonus missions). I considered it a complete Orange Box throw-in.

You do know that there are more than the 19 missions if you escape the cake? I have not done that part yet, but I am there.
I don't think its very long though.

I got to the cake...then the credits rolled. I'm a little sad cause I actually liked it quite a bit....hope they come out with more maps.

Oh my gosh, the voice during the boss sequence was so hilarious. The voice-robot in general after you run away is funny. I think it made a nice edition into the Orange Box. However, I think it was a bit too easy (try the timed ones and least steps/portals.. THAT gets you thinking)..

I'm kinda hoping they make a multiplayer version...where it takes 2 people to complete a puzzle.

I don't think I've ever said this before but the ending song is _really_ worth listening to.
