I noticed the server was having problems so I searched for somplace to go and found one that has 700 vehichels or at least it said it did. when I spawned in I found a huey and 4 cars in 10 min, but pvp was crazy, was kinda fun but I didnt stay too long.

Sweet. I was reading somewhere they are having a big debate about baby and children zombies in it.
Personally I would find it a bit much to take shooting babies. Tweens maybe not so much :)

Got the truck back but decided to blow it up, so it should respawn soon ,let somone else take the time to fix it up, not worth it  oh yeah I took the loot out first

Couldnt bring myself to destroy the truck, used it to pick up Smuckers then parked it back on foot I went to an aribase where I found an m136 rocket launcher, odd they have it ,a anti tank weapon ,but no tank. and there are choppers, but no stingers, anti air ,weapons.just sayin

Ya, I think you need Arma 2 Combined Operations, but a standalone version is expected by years end.

so should i get it or not?? i don't have too much money so every thing i buy has t be well thought. L4D2 is cool but just spend 20 euros on it and i don't think ill play it more then a couple times. So for arma i'd need to know if i have to buy it or rather wait for the standalone version

Hard to tell you what to do. Personal taste kind of thing. I believe you can get the Arma 2 OA demo to see if you like the game. Don't think you can play DayZ with the demo, but I actually don't know.
As Pop has said it's an acquired taste :) There are lots of mods for it, but if you are looking to find a lot of JiFfers playing it you probably won't. It took me a while to like and I complain about it a lot, but I do like the game.

Pop and I were having a good time today playing DayZ and listening to some player trying to convince other players to tell them where they were on the map so he could "Help" them. It was obvious he wanted to kill them and take their stuff. As soon as we knew he was near us we beat feet for the forest :) Doc was not there to protect us from harm ;)

Watch out for the other players. I hear there are bandits around the 19th hole.

I want to welcome a couple of guys to our little group. Smuckers and Stepovich have joined Grimp,Doc and myself.I have to say Im sorry to Smuckers, the first day he was on I shot him. what an introduction, sure though you were a zombie  The server seems to be having trouble spawing loot since they went to all daylite, hope we dont have to move .It would take two Mayflower moving vans to haul all the stuff.Like to see more of you old ARMA guys on, it would be nice to take over the whole island.Doc mentioned cranking up the old ARMA server, that would be cool, come join us.

Does this game make you pairanoid(sp),yes it does.Last nite I was on about 10 pm, prepairing to make a scavange run on a local prison, when a man in a ghillie suit ran in front of me .I thought he raised his weapon, so I ran at him with the truck hitting him and breaking his leg.finley I typed"are you friendly"Then I saw [JiF]AARP Grimp"no"I realised When i went to get another beer Teamspeak had moved me to AFK chanel.so when I tried to comunicate with Grimp there was no responce.I thought someone had discovered our hidden base.when all was over we had a good laugh, repaired the damage I caused ,and went on our raid. I learned my lesson, next time Ill ask the wife to go for the beer

We set up 5 tents on Lingor, our old base has been compromised. Coordinates have been PM'ed.

1 Tent with long rifles/snipers
1 for assault rifles
1 for pistols/misc
1 for medical supplies
1 for misc gear, food, water etc.

Made a few trips to our tents in the swamp and one to the ammo box. We have a decent amount of gear but could use more food/water, medical supplies and ammo.
