Old school! I can remember before TV. I still remember getting our 1st one. Black and White and we had to wait for cartoons to start on Sat AM. Used to watch the test pattern until they came on.rIot wrote:VHS, kickin it old school!

I remember sitting there waiting for the beeeeeeeeeeep to go away so I could watch cartoons
I remember our first black and white. Along time after everyone I knew got color my father went on active duty. When he came back he had some bonus money and bought a color. It was a huge maple wood cabinet. After many repairs I guess they finally gave up on it and we put a black and white on top of the color one which we then watched for many more years. So we had a color tv, it didn't work for long but we had one

For all you young ones, back when we were kids TV wasn't on 24/7. Oh and we went outside to play too. I also remember when my dad bought our first color TV and that was a 13" if I remember right. Of course we never tried any of the early color converters for our B&W TV. You must remember them, they were plastic sheet with a blue stripe at the stop for sky and a green stripe at the bottom for grass.
In fact pong the first video game didn't come out until the mid to late 70's I am old and can't really remember.
Oh and Grimp the name hasn't changed, but when you type the name of those animals the board replaces it with "Grimp's Furry Friends"
