Hey Grimp, did they play 2142 at the LAN?
and did you get it since I told you you had to?

I think some may have been playing it, but not having it I was not really looking for it. By the time I got to the party it seemed to be winding down.
I did not buy it even though your said to. If you had not said you weren't coming I probably would have ;)

Yeah, there were people playing 2142, we may have been weak in numbers, but we showed our presence....rofl, what did make me laff was the people playing WoW, last time I checked...you can do that at home? What are the odds of people finding eachother in the massive world of that horrible game, it almost claimed my life this summer but by an act of miraclism I suddenly had no need to play. I think it occured when I was on a druid quest...the red bear trap I set down never trapped any bears...NO MATTER WHAT...THEY WALKED RIGHT OVER IT!

Oh you probably did not get the notice from Blizzard.
"Because of technical difficulties all Red Bear Traps made between April 3 2004 and September 18 2006 have been recalled. At your request we will replace your Red Bear Traps with Brown Meerkat Traps. Once the Red Bear Traps are refitted they will be returned to you after you send the Brown Meerkat Traps back to Blizzard. Proof of ownership of the defective Red Bear Traps is required. You will be charged a handling fee of $2.95/trap. Thank you for your understanding it this matter.

I should have known they were defective!!! I'll find the blacksmith who made those and slay him for his mediocre workmanship. And $2.95 per trap!!! This guy used to give em to me for free everytime I came back to him. It was too good to be true...no wonder they were free!

I personally don't think the game really gets awesome until lvl 40 now that I have a few 60's. If you didn't even make it to 20 though I don't think you gave it much of a chance. If your happy not playing though, don't give it another try. However..there is no reason to keep bashing it, geez.

Yes, indeed Mike.
Let's go back to bashing 2142!

I got it this past Friday and have
played a bit over the weekend...
My conclusion? It's a BF2 mod
with different bugs.
It is fun though- don't get me wrong.
The online experience (disregarding
the multiple system crashes that have
suddenly manifest in conjunction
with my BF2142 purchase) has been
a lot of fun and pushes the necessity
of teamwork even more so than BF2.

If you're getting it- make sure you're
careful with those unlocks, it's a LOT
more complex than BF2 was...
