If it can't flush 9 golf balls at a time, you might as well just use a bucket. :D

So did our taxes last night... not getting a lot because of the state (CT) but enough to get a 32" LCD TV @ walmart and a couple movies. I take alot of exemptions because I don't like giving the Govt a free loan which they can collect interest on and I can't.

I used TaxCut the last time and this time... went to H&R Block for 8 years before that... so saved myself like a $100 in prep.

I'm with BigJ. Getting a refund is a bad thing, not a good thing. That's money that you should have had during the course of the previous year.

Finished my taxes and I'm getting a decent sized return! I thought I had it set so I would be basically zero, but that didn't work out.

One cool thing I found...I used Turbo Tax and they allow you to get gift cards from certain stores instead of cash. By redirecting $90 of your return you can get a $100 Lowes gift card. I'm sure there's some sort of catch though, so I need to look a little further into it. Anyone else try that?
You've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?
