I really like the CoD WaW PC version.
I just can't seem to get into any games that have the modern weapons.
Have to agree with you on that Zouga!

Anyone gonna pick up CoD:MW2? (Modern Warfare 2) It releases on Steam today, was released to retail yesterday. Thoughts?
Well this doesn't involve the PC version ( which I won't buy because of said issues) but I waited in line for 3 hrs for the game at midnight on release day.
3 hours total. 2 hours for my copy then another hour for a friend's copy. Yes for the 360. It was the first time in my life I ever
waited in line for a game. What an experience in life..... :? I was the 5th person the get the game there and when you walk by the line that is almost out the door of Walmart, the looks you get by the guys near the end of the line make you hold the bag a little tighter and walk a litter quicker to the car. I was going to go to the Best Buy down the road to get my friend's copy but that line was out in the parking lot! So I turned around and got back in line at Walmart which was moving pretty slow but moving and peeps were still piling in behind me. By the time I got the 2nd copy it was 1am. That's ok I'm using vacation days to play the game this week. The game is worth it, most definitely.
I made the mistake of playing the last two CoD games on the X-box, which effectively kills multiplayer for me.
Multiplayer doesn't bother me on the 360 too much as long as I'm with friends and the mute button is very very effective. It's better than being kicked on a PC server in 30 seconds because I'm not good enough...

I just got the new one 2 days ago for the 360. I'm still going through the single player campaign, not rushing it! I just walked into Wal-mart and picked up 2 of them. :) I do miss the mouse while playing on the 360, but we have to face it, the days of pc gaming are coming to a close. Gaming on consoles is just so much easier for many people. I don't wanna see pc gaming die out, but you can already see the signs. I hate going into Gamestop to look at video games, that little rack of pc games makes me cry every time. It's sad that the best places to go for pc games now are Best Buy and Walmart. :(

So I was pretty much against this game until I saw the latest trailer on TV yesterday, it does look amazing!
my issue is that I am not too keen on the WaW single player campaign so I was judging this the same way.

My hope is that this christmas more of you will get PS3s (only £199.99 @ sainsburys) so we can play BF43 online, truely it is an awesome game, and considering there are only 4 maps (1 is coral sea so planes only) it is surprising how hard it is to get bored with it. I think it is the variations in tactics you can employ, the use of the Air Raid and the fact that you can squad spawn so there is none of the endless running so characteristic to some BF42 maps

CoD;MW2's campaign is pretty short... even taking your time the first time, it takes only about 6 hours of gameplay to get through it all. It's more similar to COD4 and than WaW... and running through suburban streets, diving through people's backyards and homes, is pretty cool. The story picks up where CoD4 left off - check that one out first if you want story, check out the new one if you want action and half the story.

And yes, PC Gamers... IWnet sucks (the matchmaking servers for MW2), but the actual multiplayer gameplay is pretty good. Can't be rushed, like Halo... some of you would really like it.
