Re: Down go the Yankees...
I'm not sure why there is shock. The Indians and Boston had identical records. I can understand being dismayed but the 'shock' aspect of reporting on this series is misplaced. If you really don't believe that ESPN and other national networks inflate big market teams then maybe that is causing you to be shocked. But even if that's the case most of those news sources were saying that this series would be close (6-7 games).[JiF]rIot wrote:I'm speechless...
I realize that Bosox fans are hanging their hope on the 3-0 comeback against the Skankees but I am having trouble imagining any team getting 3 consecutive wins off CC, Fausto, and Westbrook even considering CC's two bad post-season starts and Fausto's difficulty in game 2. Certainly having Beckett tomorrow helps and going back to Fenway will be a big boost if they do win and as always anything's possible.

We need to play back at Fenway!!! I think it'll definitely make a difference after the Sox experiencing Cleavland's very vocal stadium...We need some Sox fans to get in the Indians heads!!!

to last nights game.
Those B2B2B homeruns were pretty cool. I didn't even watch the game. I just listened to IRC bots spewing a live feed.

There ya'll go. Now you just need Beckett to pitch a few more games...[JiF]rIot wrote:The thing that sucked was right before the back to back home runs...I shut off the TV in disgust to play TF2...
Hopefully Fausto!™ returns to normal Saturday and the Tribe can end this.
Re: Down go the Yankees...
I'm just glad we get to go back to Fenway, I think it would be funny if everyone was given towels just to mock the Indians fans! (not intended to be taken seriously). It will just be a pleasant change hearing people in the stadium cheer for the Sox, although I know we had a few in Cleavland trying to make themselves heard...

No I think we should get all the ex-girlfriends and mistresses of the tribe and have them sing the National Anthem together.
"It's an incredible coincidence. Honestly," said Indians spokesman Bob DiBiasio.

BTW: They should be treated same respect Roseanne Barr was when she did her rendition.

And not to mention those towels they all swing around...
