That I don't believe. I'm pretty sure Ron Moore and David Eick have the overall storyline mapped out in their heads.[JiF]Sly Gambit wrote:Or maybe the writers don't have a clue and don't really know what they're foreshadowing. They'll go the Wachowski brother's route with the Matrix series and just throw some cool stuff up against the wall whenever they're told the series is in its last season. Until they get to that last season they'll just invent one or two new 'markers' showing the path to Earth and then use lame soap opera sub-plots to kill time.[JiF]AlbieDamned wrote:Or maybe I misinterpreted the scene, and the figures were there helping to protect Hera and company.

I think I'm a Cylon! It's Monday morning, I'm sitting here at my cube, trying to write up some of my lab notes and I keep hearing muffled music coming from somewhere! Of course it's drownedd out by the guy caddycorner to me talking on the phone, the guy across the aisle hacking away on his keyboard (we so need quiet click keyboards!) and now the guy to my left talking on the phone. But hey, cubes are great for collaboration, or so management says, but I digress. I searched above me, but it's only the roof, and below me is earth, maybe the vents???
Well I asked the guy who just got off the phone if he heard it to, and he did! Maybe he's a Cylon too? But alas, he had his radio on, albeit quite low, and that was the source.

Is that your personal or professional opinion?[JiF]Stepovich wrote:Now that was definitely a desperate attempt to keep this thread alive
And on a side note, I can help save some TV programs this summer. Got a call yesterday from Nielson Ratings and I get to participate in a study for the group. Not sure all of the details, they will send me a log book to log the shows I watch and then I just return it at a later date. Don't think it's that long of a period, and I get $30 to boot!

I've always wondered about that, how do they decide who to call? Did you submit something?[JiF]KellysHero wrote:Is that your personal or professional opinion?[JiF]Stepovich wrote:Now that was definitely a desperate attempt to keep this thread alive

No idea how I got on the list, but I have the power to save some shows. I am accepting bids to save your favorite show. Only $1 per episode, and I'll say I watched your favorite show! Being part of the Nielson Rating's is a dream come true, and one day I might even be called for jury duty.

This probably won't come as a surprise to anyone, but the upcoming season 4 will be the last season: http://www.darkhorizons.com/news07/070511c.php

"Sackhoff says "I think part of the problem is that it's an expensive show. It is [a great show], but we don't have the viewership that a great show should get."
I think she should have said it was a great show...
If it'd continued to be a great show they'd have gotten the viewership they would have deserved.

Re: Battlestar Galactica
I think she is too close to realize how good it was, and how bad it is now. She took one too many to the head in that stupid boxing episode which she proabbly does not even remember making. I firmly believe this show was intentionally killed.
