100 toy soldiers

My brother & I had getting on for 200 soldiers between us. We used to have great battles, setting them up & then we both had some metal field guns & mortars which you could fire matches out of. I think I still have some of them in the loft, but I know most of them went to the dump when my parents cleaned out their loft.

I know your pain Gav, I had some of those match firing guns, one had som strategically place sand paper that would occasionally light the match as it fired, (not something to inspire confidence in my folks when I was upstairs playing )
Unfortunately my mum sold all my old toys at CarBoot sales when I was about 14-15
including my Star wars toys - something I still find hard to forgive!
I had about 35+ vehicles and over 200+ figures
