Oh the humanity!

Post by [JiF]Ziggy »

I'm at a loss to think what greater tragedy could befall mankind.

Blown transformer cuts power to wiener plant

"A blown transformer yesterday at Columbia Foods cut power to the hot dog manufacturing plant, and the company is assessing the loss from spoiled wieners, said spokeswoman Cathy Pernu of corporate parent Kraft Foods Inc."

Somebody think of the wieners! <heh heh>

It wouldn't do you any good to be standing out there with me. Besides, when did I become yours? :P

Spoiled hotdogs? Are they capable of spoiling??

Gotta love a Weber kettle grill, I'd be lost without mine ;)

Sweet Italian sausages using indirect cooking and mesquite wood for smoking. About 20 to 40 mins.
Drip pan with a tiny amount of water and onions underneath  I am hungry now!

I've taken to grilling everything that way!

I've been using hickory lately though, it's a bit stronger so you don't need to use as much for like poultry and such.
Make sure you brine your poultry and pork though, it makes a HUGE difference!

Even a good steak- seared on both sides, then covered, indirect heat with a few lumps of hickory on the coals until
it's medium rare...

Throw some steaks on the grill and some hickory, sassafras and maple in the coals.
