u need to have it exposed to the air outside to draw air into it, so unless u punch out your trunk lid with a big hole, I dont think that would work!!

I like it. At best I would try and dress it up a bit . Maybe one of those big ol air intake things you see on a hood around it.
Trunk would probably work too. Just need some creative duct work for intake and to remove the heat.

Great idea, lol! I've always wondered why the compressor for car A/C was run by the engine. Wouldn't it make more sense to have an electric A/C in cars and wouldn't it improve gas mileage?
