Well y'all could drive my way to Indy in September as there is a big LAN then. The LAN is September 14th - 16th which falls during my birthday which is the 15th. You need to put some pants on do like I did and just say your going and you have nothing to say about it. My wife just kind of looked at me and said fine. She was use to me being gone all the time when I was trucking so it didn't really bother her as she knew I would be ok going out there and back.

How many would be willing to trek up to Waterville Valley, NH? I am sure I can get a good price on a conference room and some good room rates. Could start putting something together for a November [JiF] LAN if there is enough interest. It's probably not worth doing if we don't have at least 20 people interested. The room could probably hold around 50, but I am not sure about the power situation for that many.

Woah. I just looked it up on Google maps, and I didn't realize how far north in New Hampshire this was. It's gonna be a haul for me. Google says 530 mi – about 9 hours 13 mins. I'd prefer someplace further south, maybe in northern Mass. Or Aruba.

lol, yeah, I was rather surprised when you said you would make the trek, you might as well go to a LAN in South Carolina. I say we have an October LAN like the week before Halloween. Thats when the Fall Nor' Easter was and it was a pretty good time, like a pre-Halloween LAN!
