So far its been a grand okay
Its easy to carry around.
Its good for reading email, browsing the web and chat while out and about assuming you can find a open network.
I used it yesterday to save a few Geocache web pages for reference while out looking.
I found "robs" network near a coffee shop in Hanover and kept going back to get Geocaching info. Thanks Rob
Wireless pickup range seems really good.
I also have used Gizmo on it for chat and VoIP calls. You can use Gizmo with AIM, MSN, Yahoo buddies. It also runs GAIM and Google Talk.
Bad things are:
The screen is too small for old people.
Some apps seem to be quirky and disappear once in a while. Of course that could be from me messing with the apps.
Lots of stuff on websites do not work. Most of the video websites don't. (I think you can get Mozzilla for it, which may make it better).
Finding and using websites designed for mobile phones helps.
I would give it a "handy" rating, but I would not want to be sitting there using it for hours.
Oh and Ziggy broke his already

No, I think he just rebooted it and it would not come on.
It is not rugged like an off-road GPS. Its more like standard cell phone rugged. I would not want to drop mine.
