first off, raise your hand if your a cubs fan.

my Cubbies have been playing with a vengeance recently, winning 7 straight starting with a sweep of the white sox. despite being now 6.5 games back from the brewers(1st in NL central) and 5.5 back from Arizona(the leading NL wildcard contender) i think that if the cubs can keep up even half of the level of energy that they have now they are a Serious contender for a spot in the playoffs. the truth is that the cubs have only just now begun to live up to their roster, the bats are coming alive and the bullpen has been stellar, as had been expected in the beginning of the season. the starting pitching has been at least decent, and in the case of Carlos Zambrano, absolutely amazing. I am looking for a strong second half from the Cubbies, and even if they dont make the playoffs, i guarantee you they'll give Milwaukee a run for their mony
