Anyone try Point of Existence 2 yet? I downloaded it, but have not had a chance to try it.

In keeping with DICE tradition, the 1.4 patch, which might be out today, will probably break POE.

We reccomend that people who wish to continue playing poe2 NOT patch to 1.4 until we can confirm 100% compatibility with the new patch.

Once compatibility has been assure we will make a post on our website.

POE2 works fine with 1.4. I just finished playing a couple of maps on POE2 and they were both good. Along with new equipment, maps and teams they seem to have dumped some of the command functions (“Strategic Commander Mode” (no artillery or scans)) and returned the artillery to player control. Another nice little change is the “Anti main base camping system” (Dome of Doom), which seems to improve the overall play.

They don’t track players scores yet (there ranked system is down) and you can’t take your unlocks with you but at least everyone is at the same level.
