When I was in the Navy we went to the Philly shipyard twice for dry dock repairs. There was (might still be) a mothball fleet there. I thought exactly the same thing seeing all those ships just sitting there rusting. I don't really see how they would regulate it though, it's mostly the government doing it and there's not any money in it privatize it. Hope they have a way of doing it, rather than just saying it needs to be done.

saw a show about a navel fleet they have in the middle of the ocean somewhere.... Its a goverments navy one so its like high security stuff like you can't go within a mile of it or you get it huge trouble type of stuff, they should just take um outta the water and let them sit in a yard somewhere, for how much it caughst to repair them from all the water damage transportation 500 feet out of the water wouldn't be much.

Wow...I think that carrier was there when I was ...it was in pretty bad shape then....
