While I was at the lan, my wife decided to finally try her new pc.
Her new pc is my old pc, leftover from my recent new rig-build.
Long story short, she set it up, turned it on and nada...it starts
up and freezes at the mobo screen.
The only thing I've done to it was to try and install her old Dell
HD but it didn't work out. I took it out, put the rig back together
and it worked fine. Then it sat for a few months until this weekend.
I just tried it myself, same thing. Starts up, gets the the mobo screen
and stays there. Keyboard isn't on so I can't hit delete or anything.
Ideas?
computer issue for the non-tech Nut.

Re: computer issue for the non-tech Nut.
Try to reset the BIOS by unplugging the power cord, hitting the power button to drain power, popping out the CMOS battery for a few seconds then re-seating it.
Does it get past POST at all?
