Doc just paid so I signed him up for the BF2. We got 8 now and its gonna be 5v5.
Too me thats a good thing. I can coward out and not feel bad We can sort out who plays when they make us or when we get there which ever comes first
Also if someone can't make it we should have enough. I am not sure what the dead line is for adding so if anyone else might want in the tourney better get on the list now.

OOOPs looks like we have to finalize the line up by Thursday.
Currently signed up for BF2:
[JiF]Beezer
[JiF]rIot
Rhykin
Vokyous
[JiF]Stepovich
[JiF]Lonewolf
[JiF]PFC Doc
[JiF][AARP]Grimp
I am going to bail as long as there are enough. That will bring us down to 7.Finalization is now active. Sorry for the delay. It only recently came to our attention that it was still disabled from last year's event.
In order to finalize, you must have between five and seven members, and all members must be paid. If you have seven, all seven must be prepaid. At the lan, you will be able to select your five to compete.
The deadline for finalization is Thursday, 12:00 AM. With the prepay deadline tonight at midnight, it is important to make sure your team mates pay. If you end up one short, you have through Wednesday to find other players before you will be required to finalize.

Kelly posted that he wont be able to and offered up his seat, I have a friend of mine that said he will take it so I'm waiting to hear from kelly now about it. As for the BF2 tourney I will play a Grimp when it comes time if there is enough to play. I think Grimp is rubbing off on me and I have never meet him yet.

It is still up in the air. My company is sending me to Marthas Vineyard to work for a month. That means I won't be home. If I go to the lan the last weekend I'm home I think Puddin would kill me. The other thing is that lately when I play 2142 I lag so bad I can't play. I don't know what is causing it. I may just go for a little while for a few cheese burgers. Not sure yet. My daughter has also asked me to go to dinner with her before I go. Why does everything have to be the same weekend? errrrrrr

Its gonna be big
I believe 375 is already higher than the attendance at the previous ones even when including walk ins.Prepays and Equipment List

The prepay system will remain open until Wednesday evening at midnight. People that prepay during this time will pay the door price and will not be eligible for the prepay raffle prize.
Be advised that you should have all your forms filled out, your ticket printed, and your equipment list (this will save tons of time at check-in) filled out before you arrive Saturday morning. This will ensure that you are able to get through check-in as quickly as possible.
With over 375 prepays, we are well on our way to having the biggest and best event yet!

Okay, I will have to leave as a member of the tournament so the team can be finalized.
From what I am reading someone else will automatically become the captain and will have to finalize the team.
If everyone who is signed up for the tournament is definitely coming we might as well do it sooner than later just in case something messes up when we do the captain swap. Then we will have time to notify the admins if something goes wrong.

WE NEED YOU! I havent even played w/ Rhykin or his buddy, so Im not used to their playing style. I think we require your leadership in our squad! I say we have [JiF] play in the tourney and have non-JiF members be alts. And as of today, I only see 7 in the tourney COUNTING the two others. Unless by some leap of destiny Smuckers makes it!

This is who is signed up:
[JiF]Beezer
[JiF]rIot
Rhykin
Vokyous
[JiF]Stepovich
[JiF]Lonewolf
[JiF]PFC Doc
[JiF][AARP]Grimp
I am out. Rhykin started the whole thing so him and his buddy have to stay through the massacre
Step and Lonewolf were iffy so they maybe willing to watch the slaughter with me as alternates.
Does not really matter to me how you guys want to shake it out in the end though. I strongly believe the 2 non-JiF members deserve to be in though.
Looks like 5v5 WITH vehicles will be the format.

I'll stick around as an alternate, that way the ones that have played will have a better chance since I haven't played for so long. Beside I think Grimp, Step and I would have more fun watching the slaughter then being the slaughtered .
I heard back from kelly and he said he still had the seat and that my buddy could have it, his name is EZ-Kill. Kelly is going to get with me so we can get the names changed over so I can get the tickets printed out. I got him hooked on Bf1942 last year but he is a good TFC player and he likes to play the old WWII games so he will fit right in with us.
