I was on my way to my shop tonight when I notice smoke pouring out from behind the local museum. I grabbed my cell phone and dialed 911 to alert the fire department. “Thank you. You are our second caller.” CLICK. Second caller? It sounded just like I had phoned a radio station contest. Gee, I wonder how close I was to winning a set of steak knives?
(P.S. The fire consumed one of our local tourist attractions. A preserved Huron village complete with long house and sweat lodge. As far as I know no one was hurt.)
