Well, I just got back from seeing SpiderMan 3. At IMax. Two days before it opens.

Yep.

At least you're not bragging about it. Hey! Wait a minute! I think you ARE bragging.

So was it any good?

I think we are going to try and go see it tonight and if not then it will be Saturday night.

lol, I liked The Hulk and often feel the same way. Did you see they are "remaking the remake"? Although they say they aren't, it sure sounds like it. They are making this one much truer to the comic. Edward Norton is playing the lead role and I'm not so sure he's the right guy. I really like him as an actor, he's done some great stuff and will make a great scientist type, just not sure he's right for this role. Guess only time will tell though.

Nope - I'm taunting. Subtle but important difference. :D

Yep! Especially on that big honkin' IMax screen. I think I like the 1st one best but this latest one was well worth the price of admission.

Oh.. Wait.. Did I mention it was free? Let me change that to "it'll be worth what mortal people have to pay for admission."

I thought IMAX was limited to 120 minutes...due to the physical size of the film. Have they found a way around this? Because the theatrical release of Spiderman is 140 minutes. So I submit that Timmay! has not really seen the movie, just an extra long trailer.

If it wasn't so stupid, I wouldn't have hated it. Uberadvanced aliens come all the way here to a planet covered mostly with water, to eat people who are mostly made of water. Also, water kills them deadand you can catch them by locking them in a closet. Oh, and they use crop circles to communcate among themselves.

Because of a technical limitation on the size of the film reel, these early DMR releases were edited to conform to a two-hour length limitation. Later releases did not have this limitation. Current IMAX platters allow a run length of up to 150 minutes.
Good to know! I was avoiding IMAX because of the earlier limitations.
