Pissboy has been at it again:
Nor'Easter Dispatch 04/30/2007
Nor'Easter 2007 – Big Updates!

There are just 19 days 'till Nor’Easter 2007, and we have a ton of announcements, so catch up on what’s new for the storm below! Prepaying saves you $10, and allows you to pick your seat, but the deadline is May 12th, so you have less than 2 weeks left! Currently over 280 gamers have taken advantage of our lower prepay prices, and will be receiving a personalized LaserWarez dogtag. There is also an exclusive prepay raffle that only those prepaid guests will be entered in, more information is below.

More Seating Open!

Due to the number of prepaid seats taken, we have opened up Rows Q and R. You can now select seats in these areas through the My Event interface.

Sponsor Items Rolling In!

Our Sponsor page has had some new sponsors and items added since the last email. Take a look to see what items each sponsor has donated, and see what’s new! Tomorrow I'm taking a trip to a freight company to pick up a PALLET of prizes from another sponsor, to be announced soon. Good thing I have a truck!

Intel @ Nor’Easter 2007!

We are pleased to announce that our Premium sponsor for the Nor'Easter 2007 LAN event is the Intel® Corporation. As most of you know, Intel has been producing the Core™ 2 line of desktop processors, a boon for gamers and power users alike. The flagship of the Core 2 line is the Core 2 Extreme. Intel has graciously sponsored us 10, thats right TEN, Core 2 Extreme processors for this year's event! One of the processors donated will be used in a special raffle, available exclusively to prepaid attendees only. The others will be given out by Intel and LPANE during the event. These babies are worth a whopping $1,000 each, so make sure to prepay and reserve your seat today!

A number of Intel employees will be at the event to host their exhibitor booth. You'll be able to be see first hand what they offer the gaming community, and be able to use their demo stations to test their latest products. More information on their exhibitor plans, and what they'll be providing will be made available at a later date.

RedBull @ Nor’Easter 2007!

Those of you who have been to some of our LAN parties will know that Red Bull has been one of our best supporters. At most of our events the Red Bull Mobile Energy Team has dropped by to say hello and keep everyone energized. In 2005, Red Bull provided a gaming lounge in which many of you played nostalgic console games, watched some movies, or just took a break from the LAN gaming.

This year, Red Bull and LPANE have come together to offer you something a little different. For a limited time only, LPANE will be taking orders for 4-packs, and cases of Red Bull, to be hand delivered to our attendees, at the event after you sign in. Four packs of Red Bull will be sold at $5, and 24 pack cases will go for $30, both are a considerable savings from the retail price. Do make note that these will not be sold at the event, and are only available online, before the event, and while supplies last. All proceeds will go directly into the Nor'Easter budget, to help provide for a better event. See the order details here.

So what are you waiting for? Secure your seat!

See you all there!

Its bitter sweet, because the closer we get to the LAN, the closer I am to papers being due and Finals for the semester...once those are over I can enjoy the passing time!

I'm just hoping that everything for my house goes thru with out a hitch in the next couple of weeks. We are finally being able to buy our house that we have been in for the last 8 years and the paperwork is a killer. I have more paperwork to fill out tonight and get faxed back in tomorrow morning and I'm praying it all goes thru real quick.
