Some how I got the bots to drive me around in the HumV and tank. I got to kill bad guys and capture some bases.
Its very hard to tell the bad guys from the good guys and even to see the bad guys.

HumV? Tank? I didn't see any vehicles. What mission did you play?

I joined an Internet server. I just joined it and the goal was to capture all the bases.
Once you capture one and hold it for a second the commander (bot I think) sent in a helo and paratroops came down to hold it and build a supply place or something like that. Then I went on to the next base. If I ever got out of my vehicle the bots would just kill me so I stayed in it

I fired up the demo and was pretty disappointed. I will definitely try it again, because it does show some promise. It is definitely not intuitive.
