TS added to server

We moved the [JiF] TeamSpeak server to the Pot Luck server.
I reduced the max players to 30.
If you notice performance issues now that it is running TS let me know.

I don't know about anyone else but my ping to the Pot luck just doubled. It now averages over 160.

Hmmm, some router between me and the Pot Luck Server must be losing it. My ping jumped back to over 190 two days ago and is staying there.

Oh yeah, did anyone help silentghost get a TS account?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess 'no' since I've never seen him on there and he posted this in January...

My ping has been fine and I try to keep an eye on pings in general and haven't seen any mass raisings of pings. Do you ping other addresses when you see the slowdown to make sure it's not just your ISP or home routers acting up?

My ping stayed at close to 190 for the last three days. Perhaps one of those Internet tubes was clogged?

This morning my ping has dropped back to the usual 58. Some IT tech must have run some kind of Internet de-scaler or snaked out the tubes since it’s flowing properly again.

I think they use NET-LAX to clean out clogged pipes.

did anyone get back to you on your questions??

You get peanuts in various ways (posts, playing in the GAMES section of the site, etc).
Click on your name in one of the posts to bring up your summary. It will show you how many peanuts you have. Looks like you have 1161 right now.
There might be more info on all the ways to get nuts in the FAQ section or one of the gerneral topics in the forums.

In reagrds to TS, I have not used it in a long time (much to the delight of many!). Hopefully someone got u the needed info.

If not, let us know.
