I hated seeing Richard Dean leaving, but it was his choice, and I think they kept the excitement of the show in tact. When something like this changes..people have a hard time accepting it. Took me a season to accept the new guys, most people probably didn't give it that long. The way BSG has been going lately...SG-1 was and is a lot better, and much more enjoyable to watch.

Back on topic, I thought this past week's episode of BSG was awful. It was all psychological drama, this time involving a brand new character serving as Baltar's lawyer. I didn't understand most of what was going in - I guess the dialog was too deep for me. Part of the problem was that both the lawyer and Baltar have british accents which I find hard to understand. In the past I'd rewind and replay the scene a couple times until I caught the dialog, but this time I didn't really care.

Another Episode, Another Bomb
Ok. Now I'm just still watching because I obviously enjoy agonizing pain. But can anyone here explain to me what's going on?
1) Why is Adama pissed at Lee again? Didn't he want him to do this. Wasn't it his idea?
2) How is it that in a capital murder trial they let a wannabe lawyer start asking questions? This would be like me getting up in defense of Saddam Hussein.
3) Who cares? If this is some attempt to teach the viewers some morale lesson they're failing miserably. I'm pretty sure the airlock option 8 episodes ago seems to have been the best option any of us could have done just to save us all the misery of watching this crapola.
The good news - Cylons made a vague appearance and are going to be back next week. Also the President is having drug induced visions so maybe they'll use that to advance whatever plot they had 2 seasons ago that they basically abandoned to prolongue the show.

1. He was supposed to be the lawyer's security only, not his legal assitant.[JiF]Sly Gambit wrote:Ok. Now I'm just still watching because I obviously enjoy agonizing pain. But can anyone here explain to me what's going on?

2. the asst "lawyer" can... any of the lawyers have that right - remember the OJ trial with chappiro, cochran, and the other dude all asking questions for him?
the stupid piece was when the Pres had him ask why she was drugging it again - no right minded lawyer would have asked - just simple yes or no to being
on it - dont open it up from there.
3. yes - they should simultaneously open ALL of the airlocks on ALL of the ships.... clean ending to the crappy series...
