Patch 1.4

Anyone else getting CTD's since the patch was released? I know I had some issues since the release, most of which were claimed to be resolved by this release. grrrrrrrrr

Yep same here...never had a CTD problem till this patch.

I don't have this game so I maybe talking out my butt but did you do the full patch or the incremental? When I used to try doing just the incremental patches I always seemed to have problems. Not sure if EA has done better with incremental patches or not but if you did do the the incremental it may be worth doing the full patch on a fresh install.

Like I said, I have no experance with this game so take it for what its worth.

Mine seems fine, but I have not used it a lot. I used the full patch.

I might be talking out my belly button (again), butt, I always just used the iron-on kind - like on my Sears "Toughskins", back in the day. I hope this helps. If you keep getting those CTD's, you might want to see a doctor or start wearing protection.

I used the full patch 1.4. Incremental patches, “Sears Toughskin” or not, have always created problems for me. From what I've been reading on the EA site forum it doesn't seem to make much difference which patch you use.

I have noticed that all of my crashes have occurred on "infantry only" servers. It might be just a coincidence but I was wondering if this is true for anyone else.

That might be why I am not seeing it. I have not gone to inf only server.

Inf only servers are pretty hairy. More of a free for all then the the standard BF2.
