I think that he can get powers when people around him use them - not just by being in their presence. So he got the telekinesis from Sylar but not (hopefully) the ability to chop peoples heads off and suck their powers up from the medula obligonda. ;)

As for the anger I'm not sure that that isn't just him cracking up from the use of the powers. And I'm not sure why he decided to go invisible when the guy started pointing a gun at him. I probably woulda just stopped time, walked up, and punched him. But that's just me.

Oh did everyone catch the cameo by Stan Lee? They're apparantly making a small tribute to every comic book and scifi show reference they used. Maybe that's why Stan Lee isn't suing them for stealing the X-Men concept. :)

Has Claire's father actually hurt anyone yet? Aside from the mom from being brainwashed too many times I don't think he has. Makes me wonder if he might eventually turn out to be kind of a good guy when this is all done.

I get the impression that he [Claire's dad] is sort of a good guy, probably more of the misguided goverment project type, if you know what I mean.

I did notice the Stan Lee cameo- he's more popular these days than he was in his comicbook heyday!
There's an interview on the ABC website with the Hiro actor talking about meeting him.

I'm not sure it was Claire's Dad that caused his Mom's brain to get bruised. I thought it was caused by Sylars attack on her..like he did it. It just seems to obvious that it was Claire's father.

I was under the impression it was a side effect from the multiple times her mind had been washed by the Haitian? And the Haitian is going to be in deep do do now that Claire let it be known her mind hadn't been wiped.

It's the haitian but technically a 'bruise' heals which means there's no permanent damage. Not to mention it is unintentional damage as a byproduct of too many mind sweeps too quickly - not something intentional.

They never said for sure that it was from the mind wipes...it's definitely the most likely reason, but Sylar was doing something to her before Dad came to the 'rescue'. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. :)

Sorry, Dave, was trying to finish my parent's taxes - was tough with my bluetooth/wireless mouse not working!!

Now taken care of, yes, that was I think one of the best episodes to date. Finally getting somewhere.

They interviewed on a talk show the producers. Said they wouldnt turn out to be another "Lost" with leaving you hanging and everything un-unanswered
for an entire season!!

Glad with yesterday's episode, they've began living up to their promises!!

Why the heck do we have to wait till April 23rd for the new episodes!!?!?!

Peter may yet save Mohinder. In one scene I saw Sylar go flying across the room while trying to disect Peter's head. Plus with his use of Clair's healing, he'll be fine. And why the heck did Mohinder not just shoot Sylar?

Will Peter get the powers that Sylar stole? That superhearing could mess him up pretty quickly.

Oh, and how about the Linderman thing? And Clair and Grandma?

Am I leaving anything else out?

Same thing happened with BSG- it gets really good, the season ends
and you have to wait a year for new episodes...frustrating.

It's a fun show though, I've managed to watch most of the episodes
and am caught up- thank God for the online viewing capability!
