If you were you'd know that lite (or light) beer is the beer of choice for alcoholic blue collar guys (as opposed to regular drinking blue collar guys). Lite beer will allow you to drink more cans which means you have more alcohol per drinking session which means you get more drunk. This is why the two main 'upscale' beers for blue collar workers are Miller Lite and Budweiser. Cheap beers were Pabst (until it became trendy), Natty, Natty Light, Michelob, and Milwaukees Best but the choice usually depended on the location of the bar.

Only beer snobs (or Europeans) look down on light beer drinkers*.

*Bud Light was scorned for a while as a 'girls beer' as Bud drinkers would not concede to drinking light beers and Miller drinkers would never dare switch. However Bud Light is now generally unstigmatized. Ordering a mixed drink or a mixed shot, otoh, is still a beatable offense.

I'd say 35 is old enough to drink beer ! I've been drinking beer since I was 16 yrs old , I've just about tried all the beers out there . myself I dont care for lite or light beer . I drink Shiner Bock or Budweiser .
