I'm still rooting for a plague on the entire ship. Maybe the VP as President and Admiral Starbuck would work better.[JiF]Stepovich wrote:Perhaps the actors should go on strike as well...

For the record that was the worst one yet.[JiF]Mentat wrote:If they just gave them computer games to play the workers would be happy. They could make a network and play each other and ... oh, nevermind.
What a weak show. All complaints voiced by everyone before, still applicable.
Really? They make their fuel by lining people up along a conveyer belt and manually dumping it through a screen?
I get that they might have some aversion to robots after the Cyclons went bonkers but don't you think they could have at least rolled back to assembly line robots to handle the most mundane tasks?
Oh and the Chief asks for something from the President (the lottery for new assembly line workers) and gets it pretty easily. Two scenes later he decides he needs a strike! strike! strike! because a kid he got from the lottery he requested got hurt doing something he needed done.
Then he gets arrested, gets released after giving up the strike, and then gets rewarded for striking by getting everything he wanted from the strike.
So did we all get the moral? Striking for no reason is good and there are no reprecussions even though you will get the same thing through a strike that you would have gotten from not striking. Woohoo! Honestly someone needs to start screening the writers for drugs. And if none of them are high then someone needs to start slipping halucengenics into their lunches because obviously they don't know what the frak they should do with this show. At least they can get back to cool explosions.
Meanwhile Baltar is able to write an entire book without anyone noticing and then is able to smuggle it out without anyone noticing. Perhaps they could, you know, stop him from writing? Or maybe keep people from visiting?
I'm now actively rooting for the Cylons to exterminate the human race.

Frak the Human Race - I'd be happy if the Cylons would just eliminate the writers.
I'm so disappointed in the path this show has take.....I find myself getting so angry when I watch it.
I can't even finish the 5 complaints I have going in my head about this show because I want to punch my computer I'm so mad.
Pathetic.
I'd like to call for a JiF boycott of Galactica! Do I have the motion?

I have noticed, watching SGA and BSG...the the story lines seem to alternate. If BSG has a big budget (lots of effects) one week SGA doesn't and vice versa. Could be nothing, but it seems like they write the episode based on budget constraints. I'm not crazy about the latest shows...but I still like the show overall.

I agree that this was another in a string of bad episodes. This one was slightly better than the past few just because at least it wasn't a love story. I do think the preview for next week looked promising. Looks like they're getting back to the mystery of the Cylons. I can't believe that they developed this interesting story line with the Baltar and the Cylons and the final five, etc., and then just completely dropped it for a month. But hopefully it will resume this coming episode.
Oh, and hopefully Baltar is not turning into Karl Marx.

I actually thought it was an interesting episode, much better than the last few. But they killed off my avatar. I simply cannot understand how killing off one of the most popular (and best looking) characters is a good idea for the show. I'm hoping there's some sort of plot twist, like she's a Cylon and she'll be resurrected. Although I hate to think of her as a Cylon.

Seeing as the writers watch daytime TV for their ideas, I have every bit of confidence she will be back...
