Going to be swapping out modems tomorrow.

Comcast sees T3 and T4 timeouts ... so I'll see what the swap out do.

W00T!....

Looks like I had a bad Comcast issued modem. I switched out for a RCA modem and issue is gone.

Teleporting and disconnects are fixed.

Which Comcast one did you have that was bad?

Now that I am on Comcast, they gave me a Motorola SBV5220 Cable modem.
It does the digital phone and everything thru it.

Lust nervous now for myself...

ps. did Comcast actually appologize in any way or form??

I use to work for them for 2 years in the Cable internet dept, just as broadband was rolling out. Luckly I only had the modem for a week.

LT I would stick with what you have . I had a (SB) Motorola Surf Board 5120. This is still the standard for them, but there starting to deploy the RCA's. I still think I simply had a bad modem given to me.

Okay.

Well, be careful.... it could be worse...Comcast seems to be 10x better than Time Warner.
The guy who did our new digital phone, cable and internet was great - knew his stuff & was nice.
Unfortunately, he got promoted so their services will now probably drop!!! LMAO!!
