Cool story, Rix. I lived in Goose Bay from 1961-63. Who knew there was a German sub nearby?

I recently watched a 2 part documentary about a u-boat found off New Jersey that was originally thought to have been sunk in the Med.
They thought that it had managed to kill itself with a faulty torpedo. It was a great documentary though as it also covered the history side of the u-boat.
