Re: Track of the day
Nice one Gav , yes my feet are still tapping , looks like they had a lot of fun making that.
Anyway , by total contrast here are a couple of songs sung by the sweet Irish voice of Paddy Reilly.
If anyone likes these I can recommend the album - Paddy Reilly Live a real gem.

This is a friend of mine & Janet Reno since '72, I thought that it was good "Seasonal" music for Ya'll.
Austin makes a living writing music. Here's a song Kenny Rogers recorded.
And some Monte!

Heart covering Stairway to Heaven with Zepplin in attendance. Plant actually sheds a tear for the rendition. Great cover imho.
You've got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

These guys are becoming pretty popular down here in Texas. I shot some video the other day & thought Y'all might like to see what it's like at a Texas "redneck bar". I think you'll appreciate the crowd response a minute and a half in.

Re: Track of the day
I got to meet Chris Hadfield when I was in Ottawa a few days ago. What a nice really-down-to-earth guy. Well "meet" might not be the right word. He was walking toward me in the convention centre, just after giving his talk, so I said "Hi Mr. Hadfield" while frantically waving my camera at him. He said something like "hey" then he arranged to have security walk me safely to my car.
In the "kids say the darndest things" category ... when I told Mini that Commander Hadfield would be speaking at the convention, Mini simply said: "that's the guy they sent into orbit to entertain the astronauts"

Re: Track of the day
This one goes out to Shell, a bluegrass cover of the Stones' Wild Horses. It's from what most consider to be the best bluegrass album of all time, Old and in the Way (1975). Vassar Clements, Jerry Garcia (yes, THAT Jerry Garcia, on the banjo), David Grisman, Peter Rowan and Jerry Kahn. Sadly, the album has never made it to CD, but you can find most of the songs on Youtube and convert them to mp3. I got a CD from my brother, whose friend bought one at a David Grisman concert years ago.

Very nice Ziggy.
How 'bout some Junior Brown, recorded live at the Birchmere, just a few miles to my east. One of his surfer medlies. Gib - can you play like this?
One of the things that makes this so amazing is that he looks like the produce manager at your local Safeway.
