In here you will learn how to install the FHTmod into the BF1942 Origin version using the following technique. Before you start, find out what you will need in order to play FH1 Campaign #15 on Forgotten Honor. First part shows the actual tutorial followed by the links.
BF1942 disk based version or BF1942 Origin version (v1.612)*
*If you have both versions, we recommend using Origin version
If you don’t have BF1942 Origin version, download on Origin web page under “demos”. Download and install following their tutorial.
TUTORIAL TO PLAY WITH ORIGIN VERSION:
§1 - If you have FH 0.7 and fhtmod v8.0 installed on your computer, jump to number §5.
If you do not go to §2
§2 - Download the FULL version of Forgotten Hope v0.7 at their webpage
§3 - After downloaded, does not run the .EXE file .
Use 7-zip to unpack each file to his own folder. After extract, you will have three folders, part 1, part 2 and part 3.
Copy all contents of folder 2 and 3 into 1. Overwrite when asked.
Move the "FH" folder created into Origin BF1942 here: [C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 1942\Mods].
§4 - Download FHTMOD and install into (C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 1942\Mods)
With all this done jump to §7
§5 - Copy the FH folder from your original disk based version location [C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Mods\FH] into: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 1942\Mods\
§6 - Copy the fhtmod folder from your original cd-version location [C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Mods\fhtmod] into: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 1942\Mods\
Now you should have BF1942 Origin installed with FH and fhmod placed on your Mods folder
§7 - Click on FH folder, [Origin version] than click on Archives and rename objects.rfa to 1objects.rfa
§8 - Download Win-7 fix for FH v0.7, extract objects.rfa from the .rar file and place into the FH Archive folder.
§9 - Download the week's map and install it here: [C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 1942\Mods\fhtmod\archives\bf1942\levels\]
§10 - Now start BF1942 Origin, set the server ip and connect to the server to confirm if your installation is ok.
